Step by step
Use standards in your reports
- Open Reports and choose Top Times & Standards.
- Look at the filter pills across the top: Date, Course, Gender, Age Group, Groups, and Standards. Click Standards (it reads “Standards: None” until you pick one).
- The menu lists your team’s standard sets, for example “USA Swimming 2024-2028 Motivational Standards” or “2026 USA Swimming Time Standards”. Pick one and the report shows who’s achieved which cut.
Turn sets on or off
-
In that same menu, click Add / Remove Standards.
-
The Add / Remove Time Standards window lists every set available to your team with its levels (B, BB, A, AA, AAA, AAAA, or SECT, FUTA, JRS, Pro, SRS). Check the ones you want and Save.
Request a standard we don’t have
-
In the Add / Remove window, click Request a new time standard.
-
Upload the standard’s file (PDF, Excel, CSV, image, or text, up to 25 MB), add any notes, and click Submit Request. Our team reviews it and loads it as a global standard your team, and other teams, can use. We’ll let you know when it’s ready.
The Settings path
- The same manager is at Settings → Advanced → Time Standards → Add Time Standards, if you’re already in Settings.
This one is a web task. Use team.commitswimming.com in a browser.
Where standards show up
Once a set is on, it works across Commit: the Standards overlay in Top Times, the Qualification & Standards report, Team Standards Summary, meet reports, and each swimmer’s performance view.
Common questions
Do you have our LSC’s standards? Check Add / Remove Standards first; many are already loaded. If yours isn’t, submit it with the request form and we’ll add it.
How fast do requests come back? Usually within a business day or two.
Standards changed this season. Turn on the new season’s set and turn off the old one from Add / Remove Standards.
