Summer 2026 roundup: meets rebuilt, volunteer jobs round two, billing in the app
Everything that shipped from July through early October 2026, grouped by area. Each item links to the guide that covers it.
Meets and entries
Enter swimmers by age group and gender in one grid, one tap per event. Turn on Heats & lanes to seed your own heats for dual meets; it stays off for normal meets.
The Entry File zip now holds a .hy3 alongside the .sd3, carrying heats, lanes and exhibition flags for Meet Manager.
The meet opens on an Overview of invites, commitments, entries, messages, jobs and billing. A Logs tab lists every commitment, entry and invite change, searchable and exportable.
Invite the entire roster, invite by rules (age, gender, USA Swimming registration, billing status, groups, qualifying time), or keep the list manual. Meets can be Entries On, Informational Only or Hidden.
Age Info, ID Info and Comp Category toggles on the entry report, a shareable public link for the host, and relay builders that default to committed swimmers in the right session.
The grid lineup builder, Invites and Entry Report are now in the Commit Swimming - Team app.
The report takes an eligible times date and meet-tag limits, prefilled from the meet you pick.
Generating meet invoices on a roll-up team asks whether to add the fees to the next bill or bypass the roll-up.
Parents and athletes
The team's lineup by event or by swimmer, with heats and lanes once assigned, your family highlighted. On the meet's Spectator tab and the Live card on meet days.
Going or Not going, session commitments, events with heat and lane, messages to the coach and qualifying times, the same on the dashboard, Meet Signups and in the app. Meet pages have Overview, Information, My swimmers, Spectator, Jobs and Fees tabs.
Meets, team events and volunteer jobs in one list, with Meets / Events / Jobs pills and a Needs my action toggle. Volunteer signups for a meet live on the meet's row.
Athletes use the same Commit Swimming - Team app as parents. Clubs set what parents and athletes can see separately, and adult athletes see payments and meet fees.
Attachments are reachable again, PDFs open and save on both platforms, and tapping a push notification marks the message read.
When a club turns on the Website Link, parents get a Website entry in their menu, a Team Website dashboard widget and a Team Website row in the app's More menu.
Volunteer jobs
Job events linked to meets, a grid of jobs by time slot with credits and capacity, write-ins, obligations with per-group targets, a credits report, and shortfall billing straight into your invoices.
Add many jobs and time slots at once with guessed credits and capacity, rename inline, and change a whole row or column from its menu. Family caps, one job per time slot, a self-removal lock, invited-only visibility, and several job events per meet.
Point an obligation at training groups, give one family its own requirement or exclude them, and add club credits for volunteer work done outside Commit. Family statements print one PDF per family.
Pick a real place on a job event or meet and families tap it to open Maps. Message everyone signed up, one time slot or one job from the Signups tab. The full Jobs admin runs in the mobile app.
Quick signup inside the meet row, Signed up / Not signed up filters, co-parents and write-ins with a prefilled phone number, and Club credit rows in My Credits.
Billing and your subscription
Change plan or billing interval, add staff seats or the AI Coach Assistant, update the card, download invoices and cancel, each with a before-and-after preview. Plans are Commit Coach, Workouts, Team Basic and Team Premium, and locked features show the real screen behind an inline upgrade.
Name each payment option, pick the billing day of the month for monthly options, set a final payment date or proration, and copy an option to other groups.
Families enter coupon codes while registering, and programs can carry optional additional fees. Bank accounts verify with microdeposits when instant verification is not available.
Communication
See who was delivered, read or failed, per address, with filters and CSV or XLSX export. Message the inactive roster with an advanced option; those emails carry an unsubscribe link.
A Message action on each board writes to everyone who can see it, posts can be files or posters with PDF thumbnails, and access follows current training groups.
Bold, lists and links in a message now arrive the same way in the email copy.
People, settings and reports
Settings → Tags lists every tag with its usage, tags work on staff too, and one Tags dialog assigns them to any selection on the roster.
The Member Onboarding tab is always in Team Settings, with a one-click turn-on. Members who re-join go through the checklist again.
Inviting an athlete under 13 asks you to confirm a parent's permission. Our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy updated on October 1, 2026, and the app shows a one-time banner.
The connection card walks through the two activation steps, works on every plan, and does not disturb another vendor already connected in SWIMS.
Hiding a bad result or rejecting a record pulls it off the boards and fills the slot with the next qualifying swim.
A swimmer's attendance tab filters by status and group. Calendar events open to Information, Guests and Jobs tabs, and recurring events no longer shift after daylight saving changes.
Website and help
Paste your GA4 measurement ID under Website → Theme → Global and the live site reports to it.
Keyboard-friendly menus and galleries, labelled forms, pause controls on rotating blocks, and a skip-to-content link on every published site.
The support site was rebuilt with short answers first, web and mobile steps side by side, and the help widget inside Commit now searches article text.
