The new Jobs module replaces the clipboard and the separate sign-up site. Attach a job event to a meet and Commit adds a time slot for each session. Set the credits and headcount for each slot, publish, and families sign themselves up from their app.
Why it matters
- The Signups grid lays out jobs by time slot, so “who’s covering this?” has a quick answer. You can add write-ins for people without an account, like grandparents or friends.
- Obligations set what each family owes for the season. Aim one at a registration or training group, or run one per group, like Seniors owe 12 and Novice owe 6.
- Families watch their own progress all year, and the credits report shows every family’s totals in one place.
- At season’s end, you can bill a fee for unmet credits straight into your regular invoices.
Good to know
- Clone jobs from a past event to reuse last meet’s jobs. Signups are never copied.
- The full Jobs admin also runs in the Commit app, under More → Jobs. Exports are web only.
- Billing shortfalls needs the Finances permission set to Edit.
