Step by step
- Open Reports → Records and click New Record Board. Name it and choose what it covers: age category, gender, course, events.
- Commit builds the board from every approved result in your account.
- After each meet’s results load, record-breaking swims appear as pending records. Approve the real ones, Reject anything off (a relay split read as an individual swim, a mistyped time).
- Use Generate Report to print or share boards, and put them on your website with the Records block. The site updates as records change.
- Need to fix history? Open a record to edit it, remove it, or add a missing old record by hand.
This one is a web task. Use team.commitswimming.com in a browser.
Common questions
Our records live in a spreadsheet from 1998. Enter the standing records by hand on the board, then let results take over from here. We can also help import old results; email team@commitswimming.com.
Why didn’t a record update? Records come from approved meets. Check the meet’s status under Meets → Results, then the pending records list.
Can boards be public? Yes, through the website’s Records block. See pages and blocks.
