Meets now have entry limits. Set the most events, relays or total entries a swimmer can have, per session or for the whole meet. Families are stopped at the limit, and coaches get a warning they can override.
Why it matters
- Families can’t go past a limit. If they reach one, they see “Maximum entries reached” and are asked to contact a coach.
- Coaches keep the final say. Entering a swimmer who is at a limit opens a warning, and Proceed enters them anyway. The meet’s Logs tab records it as “Added entry over limit”.
- Swimmers past a limit show as red rows in By Swimmer, with a note on their card.
Good to know
- Set the limits on the meet’s Entry rules card under Info & Settings. Leave one blank and there’s no limit.
- A relay alternate (fifth swimmer or later) doesn’t count toward a limit.
