Which app is which
- Commit Swimming - Team (blue icon). The everyday app for everyone. Parents: meets, sign-ups, payments, messages, the calendar feed. Athletes: their events, inbox and profile, plus payments and meet fees once they are 18. Coaches: the team side too, from entries to invoices.
- Commit Swimming - Workout (black icon). The coach’s deck app for writing workouts and taking attendance. Parents never need it.
Setting up
- Search “Commit Swimming” in the App Store or Google Play and install the app with the blue icon (coaches: grab both).
- Sign in with your Commit email and password. No account? See Log in and fix sign-in problems.
- Allow notifications if you want alerts for messages, meet deadlines, and invoices. You control the details in your alert settings.
- On more than one team, or a coach who’s also a parent? Tap the team name up top to switch. See One login, many hats.
Common questions
Do I need the app at all? No. Everything works in a browser at team.commitswimming.com. The app adds convenience and push alerts.
Why don’t I see everything my coach sees? The app follows your role. Parents get the family view; coaches get team management.
A PDF from a message opens as a blank page. Update the app. Android now opens message and bulletin PDFs in your phone’s browser or PDF viewer; iPhone opens them in the in-app browser, and the download icon saves a copy to your device.
I downloaded the black one by mistake. That’s the Workout app for coaches. Install Commit Swimming - Team instead.
