What you can edit
- Athlete Information (Edit Info): names, competition category, gender identity, birthdate, and their photo.
- Athlete Contact Information: the swimmer’s own email, phone, and address.
- Emergency Contact Information: add or edit the people to call.
- Parent Information: add the other parent with Add Parent so they get their own login. You can always edit yourself; another parent’s entry locks once they’ve connected their own account.
- Team questions (custom fields): shirt size, medical notes, whatever your team collects. Fields with a lock icon are staff-only.
- Goals: add season goals with your swimmer under the Manage section.
What staff handle
The USA Swimming ID, training and registration groups, roster tags, and siblings are managed by the team. If one of those looks wrong, message your coach; it’s a one-minute fix on their side.
Common questions
Where do I set shirt or suit size? If your team collects sizes, it’s one of the team questions on the Profile page. Don’t see it? Your team hasn’t added that field; just tell your coach the size.
Can other families see our info? Only if your team’s member directory is on, and you control it: Settings → Profile has a switch, “Show my family’s contact info in the team roster.” Turn it off and other families see your swimmers’ names and ages only.
My swimmer’s age is wrong. Fix the birthdate under Edit Info. Age group placement and meet age math follow from it.
We changed our email. Update your own email under Settings → Profile. That changes your login and where invoices go; see change the email on your account.
