Any line on an invoice can now move to another payment category, even one a program, meet or one-off payment billed. Open the invoice’s ⋯ menu and choose Edit line categories. Donations is also a new built-in category.
Why it matters
- A charge filed in the wrong place no longer throws off your totals. Fix the line, then run a new financial report to see it.
- Each line gets its own picker, and a change saves right away. Pick Automatic to put a line back the way it was.
- Donations sits with the other built-ins, ready to pick wherever you set a price.
Good to know
- Find it on the family’s account under Payments → Customers, in Invoice history. It works on any invoice that isn’t voided.
- Changing a category needs the Finances permission set to Edit. Reports you already ran stay as they were, so generate a new one.
- Families see each line’s description on their invoice, not its category.
