Step by step
- Log in. Your dashboard’s Upcoming Events and Volunteer Jobs cards show job events that need people, with signup deadlines and a Sign up button. Your obligation progress (“7 / 5 credits”) is on the Volunteer Obligations card.
- Click Sign up (or the event) to open it. If it’s tied to a meet, you’ll see which of your swimmers are going.
- The grid shows each job and time slot with its credits and how many spots are open. Click an open slot.
- Say who’s taking it. The sheet asks “Who is taking this slot?” and lists your family. If your team allows it, there’s also Someone else (grandparent, friend): type their name and your family earns the credit. Some events require a phone number so the meet director can reach you.
- Need out? Click your name on the slot and Remove the signup, any time before signups close. To switch slots, remove and sign up for the new one. After the deadline, contact your team.
- For everything in one place, click Jobs in the left menu: all events under Job Events, and your family’s history under My Credits, with your obligation progress, every signup, and an export if you need it for an employer’s volunteer program.

Job events show in the Events feed the moment you open the app, mixed in with meets. Filter to Jobs to see only them.

Tap the event, tap an open slot, and sign up. Your credits live under More → Jobs → My Credits.
Common questions
What happens if we don’t meet the obligation? Depends on your club. Some just track it; some bill a fee for missed credits. Your My Credits page shows the fee your team set, if any, right on the progress bar.
Can grandma take a shift? If your team turned write-ins on, yes. Pick Someone else (grandparent, friend) when you sign up and your family earns the credit. If you don’t see that option, ask a coach to add her.
When do we earn the credits? The moment you sign up. If you can’t make it after all, remove the signup so the team can refill the slot.
A slot I want is full. Watch for changes, or ask the coach; they can raise the slot count or move signups around.
Which events count toward our requirement? On your Jobs page, filter by your obligation. It shows exactly which upcoming events close your gap.
