Registering Athlete - New Member
If your athlete(s) are new to the club, you have been inactivated on the club, or you want to add a new swimmer to your profile (siblings), you'll be able to register them using the registration link your club provides.
- Contact your club for this link or navigate to their website to find it.
- Step 1: When you click the link you are provided with you will be able to review the club's available groups and prices for this program. (For USAS clubs: make note of any groups that has the USAS symbol next to it. This means that group requires USAS registration)
- If you are a current member of the club, please SIGN IN and follow the steps for registering HERE
- Otherwise, click REGISTER TODAY! to get started...
- Step 2: You will see a list of all the tasks you need to complete. If at any point you need to stop the registration process and want to come back later - save or bookmark the URL in the browser, you'll be able to pick up where you left off later. (You can also click START OVER at any point to erase your registration and start from the begining)
- Click CONTINUE when ready to start
- Step 3: Fill in your athlete's information.
- Asterisks indicate fields that are required. You cannot proceed without completing these.
- You can add other swimmers if needed.
- Want to add an email for your athlete? You can do this later in their profile when registration is complete.
- Step 4: Fill out additional information the club is requesting about your athlete(s).

- Step 5: You will now look through any documents your club needs you to review (if they have included them)
- You may see documents labeled INFORMATIONAL - these are documents for you to review if you want, but do not require any further action within Commit.
- You may see documents labeled WAIVER and include an asterisk - these require you to open, read, and select the a button to acknowledge you have read the document before you can continue with your registration.
- After you close the window for the document, you must check the box again (a second confirmation) to complete the task.
- IMPORTANT: YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PROCEED WITHOUT READING AND DOUBLE ACKNOWLEDGING THESE DOCUMENTS.
- Step 6: You will now fill out your information and provide any other parent / guardian information.
- These will be accounts that can sign in to Commit and manage your athlete(s) profile.
- Asterisks indicate fields that are required. You cannot proceed without completing these.
- Step 7: You will then fill out emergency contact info. As many as you need.
- These will not be accounts, only contact information for the club.
- Asterisks indicate fields that are required. You cannot proceed without completing these.
- Step 8: Next you'll complete the address for your account. This will be used as the address for the swimmer(s) too.
- Asterisks indicate fields that are required. You cannot proceed without completing these.
- Step 9: You will then review your selections across all the fields and required info. Then click REGISTER when ready.
- You can go back and edit any section if needed prior to hitting register.
- If you cannot click REGISTER, this means you are missing required information.
- Please review each section carefully and contact your club or Commit Support at Team@commitswimming.com if the issue persists.
- Step 10: When you select REGISTER, you'll be prompted to select your payment options.
- You can review and change the group if necessary here too.
- You can finalize your payment option (if your club is offering multiple options)
- If your club is not collecting payments via Commit, this will only be informational in nature - no payment will be initiated or payment information collected.
- Step 11: When ready click REGISTER and you'll be prompted to input your credit card for payment. (You will see if you owe anything immediately or just in the future or both in the previous screen)
- New members only have credit card payment option for the first payment for now.
- You can add another payment method later in your account for future payments, if available in your region.
- If this is an issue, please contact your club to register by other means or with their assistance.
- Step 12: You will be prompted to set your password for your account. Your email address will be your login.
- You can also register another athlete here before completing your login information.
- Step 13: (FOR USAS CLUBS ONLY) : If your club requires you to be USAS register (per the information reviewed in Step 2) you will now need to register with USAS as well here before signing in.
Now that your registration is complete, you'll be able to sign in and see your TEAM PROGRAMS tab on your Dashboard update for the number of registered swimmers you have. As well as see other available programs for the club.
- If you need to add another swimmer, either log out and register the new swimmer with the club's registration link as you just did before.
- Or you can contact your coach to add the swimmer to your profile so you can register them via the above process.
