Registering Athlete - New Member

If your athlete(s) are new to the club, you have been inactivated on the club, or you want to add a new swimmer to your profile (siblings), you'll be able to register them using the registration link your club provides.

  • Contact your club for this link or navigate to their website to find it.
  • Step 1: When you click the link you are provided with you will be able to review the club's available groups and prices for this program. (For USAS clubs: make note of any groups that has the USAS symbol next to it. This means that group requires USAS registration)
    • If you are a current member of the club, please SIGN IN and follow the steps for registering HERE
    • Otherwise, click REGISTER TODAY! to get started...

Once you start, you will see a list of all the tasks you need to complete on the left hand side.

If at any point you need to stop the registration process and want to come back later - save or bookmark the URL in the browser, you'll be able to pick up where you left off later.

DO NOT SHARE THE REGISTRATION LINK IN YOUR BROWSER - THIS IS SPECIFIC TO YOU.


  • Step 2: Fill in your athlete's information and select their group.
    • Asterisks indicate fields that are required. You cannot proceed without completing these.
    • You can add other swimmers if needed.
    • Want to add an email for your athlete? You can do this later in their profile when registration is complete.
    • Your club may include different options for registration, please follow instructions for what to include.

**If the group you are wanted to select is FULL - you'll see it listed as "CAPPED" either select another group or contact you club.**

  • Step 3: Fill out additional information the club is requesting about your athlete(s).
    • Asterisks indicate fields that are required. You cannot proceed without completing these.

  • Step 4: You will now look through any documents your club needs you to review (if they have included them)

    • You may see documents labeled INFORMATIONAL - these are documents for you to review if you want, but do not require any further action within Commit.
    • You may see documents labeled WAIVER and include an asterisk - these require you to open, read, and select the a button to acknowledge you have read the document before you can continue with your registration.

IMPORTANT: YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PROCEED WITHOUT READING AND ACKNOWLEDGING THESE DOCUMENTS.

  • Step 5: You will now fill out your information and provide any other parent / guardian information.
    • These will be accounts that can sign in to Commit and manage your athlete(s) profile.
    • Asterisks indicate fields that are required. You cannot proceed without completing these.

  • Step 6: You will then fill out emergency contact info. As many as you need.
    • These will not be accounts, only contact information for the club.
    • Asterisks indicate fields that are required. You cannot proceed without completing these.

  • Step 7: Next you'll complete the address for your account. This will be used as the address for the swimmer(s) too.
    • Asterisks indicate fields that are required. You cannot proceed without completing these.

  • Step 8: You will be prompted to add your payment method.
    • You can see more info about payment methods HERE
    • If your club is not collecting payments via Commit, this will only be informational in nature - no payment will be initiated or payment information collected.
    • If your club is allowing you to pay later, you can skip this step.

  • Step 9: You will then review your registration information and choose how you'd like to pay.

    • You can select your payment option for your group (if your club is offering multiple options)
    • You can go back and edit any section from here too before you complete registration.
    • If you cannot click REGISTER, this means you are missing required information.
      • Please review each section carefully and contact your club or Commit Support at Team@commitswimming.com if the issue persists or if your receive any error codes, please provide this to us.

  • Step 10: When ready click REGISTER and you'll be prompted to input your login info,
    • You will be prompted to set your password for your account. Your email address will be your login.
    • You can also start over for another athlete for this program here too.

  • Step 11: (FOR USAS CLUBS ONLY) : If your club requires you to be USAS register you will now need to register with USAS as well here before signing in.



Now that your registration is complete, you'll be able to sign in and see your TEAM PROGRAMS tab on your Dashboard update for the number of registered swimmers you have. As well as see other available programs for the club (if there are others)

REVIEW will allow you to review your swimmer's registration information, review documents, or register a new swimmer!

Now that you are registered, you can register for other programs in the future by signing in to your account and following the steps HERE.
