Parents / Guardians - Add Athlete

If you are looking to register your athlete for a club - follow the steps HERE.

If you already have a swimmer registered with a club and are looking to add/register a new athlete - here are the steps you will take.

• Step 1: Log in to your account at team.commitswimming.com and find the available programs on your DASHBOARD for registration.

• Step 2: Click REVIEW and select "REGISTER MORE SWIMMERS"

• Step 3: You will see information about the program and be able to see which groups require USAS registration (only for club's this applies to)

• Step 4: Click "NEXT" and you will be prompted through the first steps of registering for your groups.

• Step 5: You will cycle through any documents your club needs you to review (if you have already done this with another swimmer, you will still need to review again for the new swimmer)
  • You may see documents labeled INFORMATIONAL - these are documents for you to review, but do not require any further action within Commit.

• You may see documents labeled WAIVER - these require you to read the document and select the a button to acknowledge the document before you can continue with your registration.

• Step 6: You will now see the menu to select your athlete and group, and can choose to ADD NEW ATHLETE.

• Step 7: After selecting NEW ATHLETE, you'll be prompted for the athlete's info.

• Step 8: Then you will select their group (and can register more new athletes if needed too):

• Step 9: After selecting your group(s), you'll be prompted to fill in any additional questions (if they exist as part of the registration process.)
  • Asterisked items are required to complete registration. If this is left blank, you will be unable to finish.
  • Other fields with no asterisk are optional.

• Step 10: You will then select your payment options that are available for the groups.

If payment is due, it will use your default payment method on file.

• If you have no payment method on file, you will need to cancel the registration a do so under your PAYMENTS menu first.
• If your REGISTER button is not working or is greyed out, please ensure you have filled in all required fields and acknowledged all waivers.
  • If this issue persists or you receive error messages, contact us at team@commitswimming.com for help or contact your club's admin or coach.

• Step 11: Click REGISTER to complete the registration.

(FOR USAS CLUBS ONLY) : If your club requires you to be USAS register (per the information reviewed for the group you registered for) you will now need to register with USAS from your dashboard.

Click the button to navigate to USA Swimming to register with the club for USAS or manage, update, or check your registration.

Now that your registration is complete, you'll see your TEAM PROGRAMS tab on your Dashboard update for the number of registered athletes you have.

• If you need to add another athlete, follow the instructions HERE
• Or you can contact your coach to add the athlete to your profile so you can register them.

REVIEW will allow you to review your athletes' registration information, review documents, and even add more new athletes!

You'll also see the athletes listed under your account so you can access their PROFILES:

You can also contact your club's administrator for help to add a new athlete or any of your coaches.

A final option to add a new athlete is to register them from scratch.

This is not recommended, as the information must MATCH EXACTLY for their account to be linked with yours. If you follow this process and have any issues - please contact your club.
