One account, multiple teams

Team Management lists every team on your account with its coach and athlete counts. Use Add new team when one organization runs several programs: a club team and a masters team, a swim school beside the competitive team. Teams share the subscription; each has its own roster, groups, billing, and settings, and you switch between them from the team name in the sidebar.

The gear icon opens a team’s management; the red icon removes a team. Removing a team is serious surgery, so if you’re consolidating or shutting one down, email team@commitswimming.com first and we’ll make sure history lands where you want it.

A separate account

Account Management → Create new account starts a fresh Commit subscription, billed separately. That’s for genuinely separate organizations (you run two different clubs with different boards and different money). If it’s the same organization, another team on this account is almost always the right answer.

Common questions

I don’t see the Account tab. It’s admin-only. Ask the account owner.

Do swimmers transfer between my teams? Same account, yes; we can move them with history. Across accounts, treat it like a migration.

Does a second team cost more? Depends on your plan; see Manage your subscription or ask us.
