Commit Swimming

How Commit Swimming works

Parents · Getting Started The big picture: where to log in, the two mobile apps, who sees what, and who to ask for help.

Where do I log in?

At team.commitswimming.com, on any browser, phone included. The same email and password also work in the mobile apps. If you’ve never logged in, see Log in and fix sign-in problems.

Why are there two mobile apps?

They do different jobs:

  • Commit Swimming - Team (blue icon) is the everyday app for coaches and families. Meets, sign-ups, payments, the roster, and team messages.
  • Commit Swimming - Workout (black icon) is for coaches on deck. Writing workouts, planning training, and taking attendance.

Which app should parents download?

Commit Swimming - Team. Parents and athletes never need the Workout app.

Do I have to use the app at all?

No. Everything works on the web at team.commitswimming.com. The app is just handier on a phone, and it can send push notifications.

Why does my Commit look different from someone else’s?

Two reasons. Your role changes the app: coaches see team management, parents see their family’s view. And each club turns features on or off, so another team’s parent might see menus yours doesn’t have.

Who is charging my card?

Your club. Commit is the software your club bills through, so charges come from your team, and billing questions go to your team first. See Understanding your invoices.

Where do meet results and best times come from?

Your coaches load meet results into Commit. Once they do, best times update on your swimmer’s profile automatically.

Can one person be a coach and a parent?

Yes, with one login. You switch between roles inside the app. See One login, many hats.

Who do I contact for help?

  • Your team for anything about your club: charges, groups, meet questions, practice times.
  • team@commitswimming.com for account and technical problems: can’t log in, wrong email, app not loading.
