Onboarding: connect Stripe for payments

Last updated 2026-08-28
Coaches · Getting Started Set up your Stripe account during intake so billing is ready the day your account opens.

The intake steps

Your onboarding page has one card per step:

What you’ll need

  • Your organization’s legal name and EIN (or SSN for sole proprietors)
  • The name, birth date, and contact details of a representative
  • The bank account for payouts (routing and account numbers)

Ten minutes with those in hand usually does it.

Why this happens during onboarding

Every payment your families make goes straight to your own Stripe account, and Stripe reviews new accounts before charges can flow. Doing this during intake means the review finishes while we load your data, so billing works on day one instead of holding up your launch.

What happens next

Stripe reviews the account, usually within a business day. If they need more information, they email your representative directly. Our team finishes the payment setup checks on our side before handing you the account. After that, day-to-day billing lives in Payments, and payout details stay editable through Settings → Integrations.

Common questions

Is this safe? The whole form is Stripe’s, the same processor behind millions of businesses. Commit stores none of your banking details.

Who should fill it out? Someone authorized to act for the organization: an owner, board treasurer, or director.

We already use Stripe. Great, mention it to your onboarding contact and we’ll connect the right account.
